A bohemian elopement nestled in stunning Hood River Valley complete with the most magical floral instal (courtesy of the amazing Jess Lynne Floristry) and SMORES — what could be better?! This was my first time to The Pacific Northwest and to say I fell in love with Oregon is an understatement.
Nick and I flew into Portland and rented a car, then began the scenic drive along the Hood River. Along the way there are so many waterfalls! We stopped at Latourell Falls for a quick hike to the top and were so amazed. Soon we had arrived in Hood River and checked into our room at The Society Hotel. I definitely recommend checking it out if you are visiting! The hotel is an old school converted into a boutique hotel. You can stay in bunk-style rooms, regular rooms, or cabins. Plus there is a spa/bathouse that was really fun to end the night at. Definitely a fun stay! We were not in the Hood River area for long but did get to visit Ferment Brewing Co. (Hood River is home to many breweries & wineries!) and also eat at Broder Øst for breakfast.
I definitely can’t wait to return to the PNW and explore more of the beauty there. This Hood River Elopement was definitely a dream of mine to photograph!
